I bought this product to firmly "contain & smooth" all my parts under a form-fitting formal gown. It served the purpose well, and I give it a high recommendation! It did NOT mash everything flat. There is a gather between the breasts which prevents uni-boob. The buttock and hips are also woven differently, so you dont have a flat butt. I am 5'7" and this came down to my knees. I guess it could be hiked up if you wear a short dress, but depending on how much, it could compromise the smooth factor. My event was during a blizzard, so I welcomed the extra layer and warmth, but I believe it would be pretty hot to wear in summer months.
