As an educator, I know how challenging it can be for us to keep our health and well-being top-of-mind throughout the busy school year. When we jump passionately into the school year, we as teachers too often fall into bad patterns of poor eating, stress, and not enough sleep. Jen Burdis has written a well-organized, actionable guide for teachers to get on track -in both mind and body- in a way that is integrated with their roles as educators. Her 11 Habits are both reasonable (she makes a variety of realistic suggestions for activities/goals) and at the same time challenge educators to be their best selves! I have really enjoyed reading Jen's book this summer and know that I have a plan of action for the coming school year to maintain a stronger, healthier, happier life. Highly recommend!!
